It’s happening. Finally. The weather is warming, the sun is sticking around past suppertime, and the spring showers are starting to subside. Summer is fast approaching. It’s the perfect time to be outside.
While you’re always welcome in our tasting room (we’re still following COVID guidelines to keep our visitors and staff safe), there are many great experiences awaiting outside our cellar doors. Whether you’re a local or a visitor, planning an extensive Geneva wine tour or just popping down after a day at the beach, the M Cellars grounds have a lot to offer. Here are our top 5 reasons to visit us this patio season:
1. Plenty of room—with a view
Our newly expanded patio offers tons of additional seating to our deck and lawn, all in a serene vineyard setting. Enjoy tableside tastings, wander the rows of vines or just relax in the afternoon sun.
2. You can BYO picnic
Pack your own blanket and food basket and find a quiet spot on the lawn for your own private vineyard picnic. We’ll provide the wine.
3. We’re dog friendly
Bring your furry friend along to enjoy a sunny afternoon or warm evening on the grounds. Just remember that wine isn’t healthy for pups, so no sharing. Oh well, more for us.
4. Tasty eats
In addition to our Snacks Menu featuring our favorite small bites, we often host visiting food trucks. View the schedule on our calendar of events. This month, we’ll welcome Smoke This – Craft Pit BBQ and Scott’s Fire & Ice Woodfired Pizza trucks.
5. Excellent entertainment
Surrounded by wine, vines and spectacular Ohio sunsets, all that’s missing from the ambiance is music. Luckily, we have some very talented musicians on our schedule. Watch the day give way to evening against a soundtrack of acoustic melodies ranging from blues, jazz, alternative, folk and more.
Want to stay a little longer? Book a night at the nearby Vineyard Woods, home to one of our grape farming sites. The charming and luxurious accommodations are nestled among 50 acres of pristine vineyard land. And it’s only a two-minute drive from our winery vineyard.
Happy patio season to all. We hope to see you at ours soon.
